Childhood friends Monica Paolini and Sean Monahan are the founders of New York-based brand SEA. Merging Paolini’s affinity for vintage fashion and Monahan’s minimalist aesthetic, the designs are infused with feminine whimsy. Dresses, blouses and jackets are cut from cotton and silk and finished with charming elements like ruffles and lace for a romantic, youthful look. Prints — spanning from florals to patchwork — are also integral to the brand’s identity.
