Sabrina Dhowre Elba is a multi-hyphenate in the truest sense of the word. A Somali-Canadian philanthropist, actress and model, Elba’s portfolio includes running lifestyle brand S’ABLE Labs with her husband Idris and co-hosting its popular podcast Coupledom about the power of partnerships with a new series out now. She’s big into charity work, using the platform she’s been given to amplify the voices of others, and was recently named United Nations’ IFAD (International Fund for Agricultural Development) Goodwill Ambassador for rural women and girls around the world. She’s popular with the fashion crowd, having designed two collections for Christian Louboutin (her next line lands mid-June) and appearing on countless catwalk front rows. This month, she’ll travel to the French Riviera to open Cannes Film Festival alongside Idris for the premiere of his highly anticipated fantasy-romance film Three Thousand Years of Longing.
