MELISSA ODABASH
As a former swimwear model herself, Melissa Odabash has an innate and personal experience of what women want from their swimwear and beachwear. It was her search for the elusive ‘perfect’ bikini that triggered Odabash to launch her own brand. From the outset, the focus has been on form and function, marrying flattering cuts with glamorous prints and vibrant colorways to make the wearer feel fabulous.
The collection debuted in 1999, injecting high fashion into the swimwear world, with Vogue dubbing the designs ‘The Ferraris of the bikini world’. The A-list concurred, and soon sightings of the silhouette-enhancing beachwear were spotted in vacation hot-spots across the globe on the likes of Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss, Rihanna and Gwyneth Paltrow, to name but a few.
Respected in the industry as a master of timeless swimwear design for the clean lines, innovative use of textiles and the products way of adapting to all body types, Melissa Odabash has expanded her range to include ready-to-wear (by the pool or beach!). The brand prides itself on providing all the luxurious jet-set essentials for any A-list inspired vacation.
