On evenings out, Ghanem loves to bring her film camera to capture special moments. “Once the film is developed, it is so nice to revisit the memories from that night.” When it comes to styling this sparkly Rachel Gilbert sequin dress beyond the festive season, she advises pairing it with an oversized coat and over-the-knee boots, “for an edgier look”. 

“If you're struggling to put an outfit together and you're pressed for time, you can never go wrong with an all-black or an all-white outfit. I'm at the point now where I don't want to compromise on being comfortable,” explains stylist and content creator Ambika Dhir, as she masters elegance and ease in a relaxed double-breasted Bite Studios blazer and Jacquemus pants in a coordinating ivory color. “I love pairing kitten heels with long pants,” says Dhir. “NEOUS is one of my favorite brands for finding shoes and accessories with a bit of a twist. I'll be wearing these for other occasions with some oversized jeans, a tank top, and a little cardigan during spring for dressier lunches with the girls or late nights.” Whatever the occasion, she always brings “a little pouch that carries all of my essentials; a small hand cream, a lip oil – my favorite is Clarins –, a lipliner, a mini perfume, and some blister plasters – especially after spending the night on your feet dancing.” 

“For black-tie dressing, I usually gravitate towards styling my pieces with eye-catching accessories. Whether that’s a pair of heels or earrings, I try to elevate any simple dress with something extra”, says content creator Serena Goh, who has paired a stunning Marchesa Notte gown with crystal-encrusted earrings and bow-topped Stuart Weitzman heels. Her secret to looking chic all night long? “I never leave home without a pair of statement earrings, heels, and my favorite lip liner.” When it comes to re-styling occasionwear, Goh likes to mix in everyday pieces to create a day-to-night look – “this is especially convenient when I don’t have time to go home and change before an event.” 

“A little bit of sparkle goes a long way,” says content creator Justine Lee, who dazzles in this scintillating mini dress by Rotate Birger Christensen. Lee’s cocktail party essentials include statement earrings as well as a powder compact and lipstick – “so I can always be photo-ready”. If you’re seeking a luxe layer to complete your party look, her pick is this Magda Butrym velvet blazer. “A nice, structured blazer is a wardrobe staple that can be worn countless ways.” Later in the year, she imagines re-wearing it with “wide-leg pants for a tuxedo look”. 

“Wear something comfy that is easy to move your body in. Also, don’t be afraid to wear some color – it can give that little extra touch while dancing”, suggests content creator Amaka Hamelijnck. “The dress I chose from Gauge81 is so versatile, super chic, and can be worn in different ways. I totally see myself wearing this for my 30th birthday next summer. You can also style it with a lace bralette for a dinner look.” Regardless of the occasion, there are three things Hamelijnck never leaves the house without and those are “lipgloss, lots of jewelry, and my analog camera.”
